Repairing A Windshield

Technician repairing a windshield

Did you get a chip or crack in your windshield recently? If so, get it fixed as soon as possible! The longer you wait to get it repaired, the worse it can get, eventually leading you to need a windshield replacement. Road vibrations from normal driving can cause the chip or crack to end up spreading and spidering out, making the problem much worse. Extreme temperatures of either hot or cold can also cause a chip or crack to spread. It is important to get it sealed and fixed before this happens, or else your windshield might need to be completely replaced.

When we perform a repair on your windshield, it will usually only take 20 minutes and you can be back on the road. The resin that we use will not yellow over time. The crack will be almost invisible, and you can rest assured knowing that it shouldn’t spread any further.
The god news is that most auto insurance companies will actually cover a repair to a crack or chip, so that there is no cost to you! Rock chips and cracks on windshields are usually covered by the comprehensive part of your auto insurance policy. You can find out more from your insurance agent on whether or not your auto glass repair will be covered.

Get your windshield repair completed before it gets worse and you have to replace the whole piece of glass!
